Communication times

It is essential to distinguish between standard communication, event response capacity (response time), and effective data transmission to the platform:

  • Normal Conditions: The device automatically publishes the latest collected data every hour, maintaining optimized energy consumption.
  • Alert or Specific Conditions: Upon the activation of an alert or a specific trigger, the response time is reduced (according to the values defined in the configuration table). This allows the equipment to perform data readings at much shorter intervals to monitor the event with precision.
  • Data Transmission during Alerts: When an alert occurs, the device uploads the data immediately. It is important to note that, although sampling is more intensive during this period, the system will only report the alert event and will not publish the historical data collected during the rapid sampling interval.

Atlas X Flowmeters: For flow monitoring in Atlas X models, the standard reading and upload frequency (in the absence of alerts) is pre-configured to every 20 minutes.
