Create Atlas#
Each Atlas represents one of the physical devices installed in the field.
- Within the selected farm, go to the Atlas section.
- Tap on the "Create Atlas" icon
- Fill in the device IMEI field or tap on the QR icon to scan the code on the side of the device.
- Fill in the name field to identify your Atlas
- Enter its location on the map. Clicking on the location field will display a map showing your current geolocation (you need to approve the geolocation permissions on your mobile phone.)
You can also search for the location of the Atlas from the search engine at the top right.
Click on the point on the map where you want to locate your Atlas, when the "pin" is displayed on the map you can save the location.
If you want to modify it, you must delete it by clicking on the trash can and repeat the process. - Tap on "Save Atlas" to save the settings.
Once the Atlas has been created, you will be directed to the Atlas detail screen according to the model you have registered, where you can see its battery status and coverage and the different cards to register the elements.
Atlas view#
From here you will have an overview of the status of all your devices. You will be able to see the model they are, their name and identifying IMEI and their global status. As well as check its battery and coverage.
From this screen you can also search the Atlas list by entering the name of the device or scanning the QR code
Device tags
- Real-time (green): shows that your battery values and coverage are greater than 20%.
- Low signal (green color): Coverage is less than 20% while battery is above 20%
- Low battery (green color): The battery is less than 20% while the coverage is greater than 20%
- No battery (red color)
- No communication (red color)
If the Atlas has a power saving mode active when asleep, the label and battery and coverage colors will turn gray.
You may find an Atlas device with low battery in yellow and it may show up as green on both the status label and the map. It's normal, the device can work perfectly, but you have to be a little more attentive to its behavior in the following days.
Atlas Detail#
View the elements and status of your Atlas at any time. Act on the actuators and view the latest reading from your sensors and actuators from a control panel.
To access the detail of an atlas, click on any of your registered Atlases.
- Select the Atlas you want to view (Click on its identification card in the Atlas section)
- View the battery and connection status of the Atlas. You can access the Monitoring section to see the details.
- Act on the elements or visualize the collected data by accessing each of the elements.
You can access the detailed panel of the specific element by clicking on the element's card. This will allow you to edit or delete it.
Edit Atlas#
You can modify the configuration of an Atlas or any of its elements (inputs, outputs, sensors) from the Atlas detail screen.
- Select the Atlas you want to modify
- If you want to edit the Atlas registration fields, click on the "Edit Atlas" button. If you want to modify any of its elements, follow the steps in the next section.
- You will be able to modify any of the fields defined except for IMEI
- Once modified, press "Save" to save the settings.
Delete Atlas#
To delete an Atlas:
- Select the Atlas you want to remove from the Atlas list
- Go to the bottom of the detail view screen and tap on the "Delete" button
- A pop-up screen will open to validate the action. Type in the name of the Atlas and press "Delete" to continue with the action.
Attention! If you want to delete an Atlas, you have previously had to delete all its associated elements (inputs, outputs and sensors), if not, the platform will show you a warning and you will not be able to continue with the action.
This action is irreversible and all data will be lost.
