The Allocations section allows you to assign a volume of water to one or more hydrants during a period of dates. From here, the field or punctual allocations are controlled, it is seen which hydrants are associated and the volume can be modified if necessary.
Create allocation#
Fill in the fields of the form:
- Name of the allocation: descriptive name of the allocation.
- Crop (optional): type of crop for which the allocation is intended. If a crop is specified and the hydrant has a different crop, it will be rewritten for the duration of the supply
- Type of irrigation (optional): irrigation system used (drip, micro-sprinkler, etc.).
- Date selector: the start and end period during which the allocation will be applied. You can choose any date from the current one and the range must be greater than 48 hours.
- Volume: amount of water allocated to the hydrant. In the case of a shared allocation, the amount will be multiplied by the number of hydrants. It can be entered as a total volume or as a volume by area, depending on the option enabled.
- Area: when activated, the volume value is displayed asmilliliters per hectare (L/ha) or the equivalent in farm units and the system takes into account the surface area of the selected hydrants.
- Shared Volume: When enabled, the total volume is multiplied by the number of associated hydrants.
Select the hydrants or irrigation intakes.
Clicking on "Add hydrants" opens the "Select hydrants" window, which lists all the hydrants and metered irrigation intakes in the community that do not have any supply on those dates.
Mark the hydrants to which you want to apply the equipment (you can select several).
If you deploy a multi-hydrant, it is possible to select a particular irrigation intake.
The selected hydrants or irrigation intakes must have at least one flowmeter.
When all the fields are correct and there is at least one hydrant associated with it, click on "Create allocation". The new allocation will appear in the main table with the status "Active" or "Planned" depending on the dates for which it has been configured.
If a crop has been chosen in the allocation, but some associated hydrants do not have that crop, a window appears indicating if you want to overwrite it.
Possible actions:
- Cancel: the original crop of the hydrant is maintained, but the allocation is not created.
- Continue: the hydrant crop is updated with the allocation crop and the allocation is applied.
Overview#
When entering Allocations, a table with all the allocations created is displayed. Indicating:
- Name: name by which the allocation was identified.
- Status: Indicates whether the allocation is Active or Planned or Past.
- Type: Simple or shared.
- Volume: The total volume allocated for that period.
- Crop: Crop, if indicated.
- Irrigation: type of irrigation selected, if indicated.
- Date: The range of dates in which the allocation is active.
- Associations: number of hydrants or irrigation intakes to which this provision has been assigned.
It is possible to filter according to the name of the allocation.
If the screen size does not allow you to display all the data, a drop-down icon (˅) appears. Opening it displaysadditional associated data that could not be viewed previously.
Actions#
At the top right of the detail screen is an options button (three vertical dots (⋮) icon)
The behavior of these actions varies depending on the state and type of allocation.
Edit active allocation#
- Select "Edit."
- The same creation form will open with the data already loaded.
- Modify name, crop, type of irrigation or hydrants.
- Click "Save" to apply your changes.
It is possible that when making modifications there is a conflict with other equipment, in which case a message is displayed that notifies the user with the incident.
It will not be possible to edit the type of the allocation.
If the crop is modified, it will be rewritten in the hydrants
It is not possible to modify the dates, hydrant or volume while it is active.
The hectares of a hydrant cannot be modified if it has an active allocation.
Change active allocation volume#
- Select "Modify Volume."
- A window will open with the current volume
- Modify the volume and add a description of the change
- Click "Save" to apply your changes.
Only applicable for Single Allocations.
The volume already consumed by each of the hydrants and intakes will be taken into account and may not be less or equal to the one consumed.
Delete active allocation#
- Select "Delete."
- The system will display a confirmation window to prevent accidental deletions.
- Confirm the operation
Edit planned allocation#
- Select "Edit."
- The same creation form will open with the data already loaded.
- Modify name, crop, type of irrigation or hydrants.
- Click "Save" to apply your changes.
It is possible that when making modifications there is a conflict with other equipment, in which case a message is displayed that notifies the user with the incident.
It will not be possible to edit the type of the allocation.
If the crop is modified, the hydrants will be rewritten.
If it is shared, the hydrants and volume cannot be modified.
The modified dates must be later than the current ones.
Change planned allocation volume#
- Select "Modify Volume."
- A window will open with the current volume
- Modify the volume and add a description of the change
- Click "Save" to apply your changes.
Only applicable for Single Allocations.
The volume already consumed by each of the hydrants and intakes will be taken into account and may not be less or equal to the one consumed.
Delete planned allocation#
- Select "Delete."
- The system will display a confirmation window to prevent accidental deletions.
- Confirm the operation
Delete past allocation#
- Select "Delete."
- The system will display a confirmation window to prevent accidental deletions.
- Confirm the operation
Detailed view#
When entering a allocation from the list, a screen with the information summarized at the top is displayed:
- Type : Simple or Shared
- Allocated Volume
- Total Volume (Shared)
- Cultivation
- Type of irrigation
- Dates on which it is valid
Below is the table of Hydrants or associated irrigation intakes, where you can see:
- Name of hydrant or irrigation intake
- Current consumption represented by a bar. (It is possible to see the % of the equipment consumed by hovering the mouse over it)
- Total allocated volume
- Surface
- User
At the bottom is the Activity block with a chronological list of changes made to that allocation.
In the left column you can see the actions with their date and time.
When you select an activity, the Activity Summary pane displays the specifics of that change.
This allows you to visualize the changes in each update.
