Manual control (irrigator mode)

Accessing your hydrants#

When you log in, the platform shows you the hydrants that the water district has assigned to you.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Hydrants list.
  2. Tap on the hydrant you want to manage (e.g. Hydrant 01).

Opening or closing the valve#

You will only be able to act if both of these conditions are met at the same time:

  1. Your community is set to Manual operation.
  2. The hydrant is in Manual mode.

Steps to open the valve:

  1. Go to the hydrant's detail view.
  2. On the right-hand side, check that the mode is Manual and the valve is Closed.
  3. Move the valve selector to Open.
  4. The header will switch to Running and consumption will start being recorded.

Steps to close the valve:

  1. Go to the hydrant's detail view.
  2. Move the valve selector from Open to Closed.
  3. The valve closes and the header returns to Available.

When you CANNOT operate the valve#

If the selectors on the right-hand side appear disabled, it is for one of the following reasons:

A) The hydrant is in Auto mode. The administrator has switched it to automatic. Only scheduled irrigations are run. If you need to operate it manually, contact the administrator to switch it back to Manual mode.

B) An administrator has taken control. An administrator, manager or distributor is temporarily operating the hydrant. The valve is locked for you for up to 10 minutes; after that time you will automatically regain control.

C) The water district is not in "Manual operation" mode. If the community was configured with a different mode, you will not be able to operate it manually; only the programs defined by the administrator or manager will be run.

Checking your operation history#

Every opening and closing you perform is recorded.

Steps:

  1. Go to the hydrant's detail view.
  2. On the right-hand side, tap View operation log.
  3. Review the timeline of your actions.
